Lee-Ann has studied and taught psychology for the past 13 years. She has experience in counselling adults, adolescents and children but has chosen to dedicate her practice to working with women, of all ages, who want to receive empathetic, caring, counselling while walking out of doors.
Lee-Ann has been trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy, amongst others. She has a particular interest in Health Psychology and has published articles on psychologists integration of complementary and alternative therapies, the influence of environments on walking and attitudes towards walking for transport.
She has knowledge and experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, grief, parenting, particularly parenting high needs children, cancer diagnosis and genetic predisposition to cancer (BRCA1 & BRCA2).
